All was quiet in the house as Bella and I curled up on the couch together with a mess of books surrounding us.  We read Pooh's Five Little Honeypots, What's Wrong Little Pookie?, and Goodnight Moon.  After each one, she'd get down off my lap and meander over to the bookshelf to ponder over her next choice.


I could almost see her little brain getting bigger, soaking up words and rhymes and learning like a sponge.


Oh how I love books.
