Hey You! Lurker! I know you are out there...you read and never comment. I really appreciate the random comments from people who read this thing. It’s nice. It may not be National De-Lurking Week (yes there is such a thing), but I’m going to do it anyway. I’m calling all you Lurkers out there that read this blog and never comment to comment. Drop me a line. Tell me how you’re doing. Tell me a funny story. You know…whatevs. The funny thing is I have lots of family and friends out there who I KNOW read my blog, yet have never commented. It’s time for you all to bite the bullet and do it. Love you guys!

And just to give you a little topic of interest for commenting, our fam is heading to Vancouver for a little family vacation. Have you been to Vancouver? What did you think of it? Any places you recommend going to or eating at? If you haven’t been there, where would you like to go on a vacation?

Happy De-Lurking!

I admit I lurk on a daily basis...but I DO leave comments from time to time. I feel dirty calling it lurking...can we call it perusing? I merely peruse your blog for funny tidbits and interesting recipes...on a daily basis. (I'm so pathetic).

Vancouver - how fun! I have been there many times and lived in the are for two years so.... what to do? Grouse Mountain Gondola, walk the sea wall (well part of it), Stanley Park, Granville Market, Gastown, wander the Pan Pacific Hotel, Kitsilano Suspension Bridge, drive a bit to White Rock and have fish and chips on the beach and walk the looong pier, bring an umbrella, have coffee at JJ Bean (simply the best)and I'm sure I could come up with more stuff. We've eaten at some superb restaurants with friends but I can't name them. I could find out some good ones from them though if you would like. HOpe this is a start for you!

Definitely NOT pathetic Vanessa! Thanks for dropping by and throwing in your two cents :)

Carla, thanks for all the wonderful suggestions. We are going to be visiting Steve's family a lot so he says not to get too carried away with touristy things. Boo :( But any restaurant suggestions, or touristy suggestions for Victoria, would be greatly appreciated. We will be tourists with no family in Victoria for two days. In Vancouver we are hitting up Stanley Park, and Granville Island though, which I am really excited about. And a new cool street that Steve's Dad discovered called Commercial Drive. Ever been?

Yup, Commercial is around the corner from where some friends of ours live. We haven't explored it too much though. We actually haven't done too many touristy things in Vancouver - just what I mentioned above. We ate at some fabulous places in Victoria when we were there six or so years ago, I'll try and dig up the names and pass them on!
