Grace In Small Things: Part 13 of 365
1. Having a baby so content and wonderful, joy oozes out of her pores.
2 & 3. Silly 80's parties and tight bums.
4. Quiet time.
5. Sipping coffee in the morning listening to the sounds of the house and the little babes softly breathing.
Wage a battle against embitterment and take part in 365 days of grace in small things.

Hi Kindra, yeah the top of that quilt is about 6 1/2 yards. I've never actually kept track though, that's just how much it would be after I measured it out and added in seam allowances. So you would have to buy the back and binding seperate, but binding only took a 1/2 yard and the back is a 100% cotton sheet from the company store.com good luck and happy quilting, and thanks for stopping by my blog and saying hi! -Allison
Hi again, yeah I would buy 1/2 yards. With Ben's quilt I used mostly 1/4 yard pieces, so I had lots of different fabrics, I haven't counted how many but I think there are around 23 or more. Alot of them I wished I had a 1/2 yard, or more. So I would start there. When you make the blocks to this quilt you'll notice that some of the 8 1/2" borders to the blocks are a little too long and stick off the edges, don't worry about it, just square them up (or not) and go from there. Its just too hard to get it exactly 8 1/2" You'll see what I mean when you make it! If you have any questions you can email me at cluckclucksew@gmail.com too, thanks, Allison
